Helping You Obtain Your Desired Breast Size
Breast Lift
Mastopexy, more commonly known as a breast lift, is a very common procedure for women who are struggling with sagging breasts following developmental abnormalities, weight loss, or most commonly after breastfeeding. This operation raises both the nipple and the breast, while also contouring the breast tissue.
It’s not uncommon for patients to want a breast augmentation using implants at the time of the breast lift, to deal with common post-partum breast atrophy following breast feeding.
Recovery
After surgery, patients must limit exercise for the first three weeks. You may return to the gym for light exercises such as treadmill walking and stationary cycling once you are off pain medication in two to three days. Most normal activities may be revisited in three weeks. Mastopexy surgery does leave permanent scars, but these improve during the first year.
